Areas of Interest

The workshop will be focused on discussing new developments on Fuzzy Physics and Noncommutative Geometry.

Programme

The workshop is designed to be a working meeting, therefore the informal discussions will be emphasized. These discussions will be held every afternoon in the meeting rooms. Furthermore, there will be one-hour-talks scheduled on several days at 12pm.

Preliminary schedule of talks:
7.6., 12pm: Shahn Majid, Noncommutative Harmonic Analysis, Sampling Theory and the Duflo Map in 2+1 Quantum Gravity
12.6., 12pm: Marco Panero, Numerical results for the non-commutative scalar model
13.6., 12pm: Richard Szabo, Two-dimensional noncommutative gauge theories
13.6., 2.30pm: Christian Speckner, Noncommutative Standard Model
14.6., 12pm: Martin Schlichenmaier, Berezin-Toeplitz quantization of compact Kaehler manifolds
15.6., 12pm: Harold Steinacker, Spontaneously generated fuzzy extra dimensions and fermions

Preliminary schedule of discussions:
11.6., 2.30pm: Twisted Symmetry, Electrostatics using the Fuzzy Sphere
12.6., 2.30pm: Simulations and Multitrace Matrix Models
13.6., 3.30pm: Phenomenology and Twisted Symmetries
14.6., 2.30pm: Quantization of Kaehler Manifolds
Further topics:
Fuzzy SUSY, Matter in A_theta & Gauge Fields in A_0, NC and CMB, Quasi-triangular Hopf algebras, Noncommutativity in target space.
